Just south of Auckland is the Simunovich Olive Estate, a slice of the Mediterranean situated in Bombay which, with over 40,000 olive trees, is the largest privately owned olive grove in New Zealand.
From these olives, the Estate produces it’s own extra virgin olive oil as well as creating and manufacturing natural skin care products.
It is also home to the award winning Bracu restaurant and Bracu Pavilion. The Pavilion is a relatively new addition to the Estate, being opened in just November 2010, but already it is fast gaining a reputation as being the venue for hosting lavish weddings, up-market product launches, private functions and both corporate and public entertainment events.
The Pavilion offers single function exclusivity with seating capacity for 50 – 190 guests, high quality catering, a private car park (including parking for four buses), a 100 inch projection HDTV and, of course, breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside.
It is this combination of modernity surrounded by a touch of old-world charm and the open expanse of nature that makes the Pavilion such a draw card as a wedding venue.
With its lakeside pond and goddess water feature, it’s the perfect spot for a ceremony.
